The Marinelli Foundry was given access to the Vatican prior to World War II when Pope Pius XI summoned Marinelli Sr. with concern over the looming war and the possibility of theft or damage of the Vatican’s priceless art collections. Marinelli was given the honor of creating plaster master molds right from the original marble sculptures in the collection. The most famous of these sculptures entitled the David, crafted by Michelangelo from 1501 to 1504.

It is from this original plaster mold that Marinelli poured a flawless red wax that was inspected and examined by Casa Buonarroti for Foundry Michelangelo (FM) and found the waxes perfectly compliant with Michelangelo’s original. In a letter written to TIC/FM from the

Foundation of Casa Buonarroti, Dr. Alessandro Cecchi, the Director of the museum and the highest authority of authentication for the Foundation of Michelangelo, affixed its coat of arms and the Lily of Florence and authorized Treasure Investments to produce one and only one silver original casting of the David.

Earlier this year, on July 13th Mark Russo along with Michael Sheppard, Director of Investor

Relations, and Steve Forbes (owner of Forbes publishing), unveiled to the world in Las Vegas, NV, live on stage at the Mirage Casino Hotel, the original Pietà by Michelangelo in over 20,000 troy ounces of pure silver. This was the first original Michelangelo produced in silver by Treasure Investments and appraised at 70 million dollars. The second piece in the Renaissance collection is already completed as an original relief sculpture entitled “Battle of the Centaurs” by Michelangelo, weighing in at 2,333 troy

BATTLE GROUND, WASHINGTON, UNITED STATES, November 29, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — Treasure Investments Corporation obtained the exclusive rights to cast 72 original masterpieces in precious metal from the Vatican collection through the company’s international partnership with the world-famous Marinelli Foundry in Florence, Italy. In 1932, the Marinelli foundry was granted access to the Vatican sculpture collection from Pope Pius. Marinelli was allowed to pull plaster molds directly from the marble masterpieces of artists including Bernini, Verrocchio, Delatono, Apollonius, Canova, and Michelangelo. 28 of the plaster molds that were created are the most famous works of Michelangelo and include the Pietà, the 18 foot tall David, Battle of the Centaurs and other iconic works.

Original Michelangelo Sculpture Battle of the Centaurs Cast in .999 Pure Silver On Display at Treasure Investments Corp’s Museo Michelangelo

Treasure Investments was given the exclusive rights to cast these pieces as originals in precious metals, including pure silver, gold, and platinum.

“These castings are not copies, replicas, or made from digital scans. They are right from the original plaster molds and are considered posthumous originals,” says Mark Russo.

To keep the pieces completely authentic and considered true originals, Marinelli uses the plaster master mold taken directly from the original marble masterpiece, pouring red wax into the plaster, referred to as the lost wax casting process. Once the red waxes are poured, they are inspected, authenticated, then carefully packaged, crated, and sent to Treasure Investments Corporation. Upon the arrival of the red waxes, Treasure Investments begins the casting process using the original red waxes and creates a one-of-one, and only one casting in precious metal.

The “Battle of the Centaurs” is a relief sculpture by the Italian Renaissance artist Michelangelo, created around 1492. It was the last work Michelangelo created while under the patronage of Lorenzo de Medici, who died shortly after its completion. Inspired by a classical relief created by Bertoldo di Giovanni, the marble sculpture represents the mythic battle between the Lapiths and the Centaurs. A

popular subject of art in ancient Greece, the story was suggested to Michelangelo by the classical scholar and poet Poliziano. The sculpture is exhibited in the Casa Buonarroti in Florence, Italy, the home where Michelangelo was raised.

Michelangelo regarded it as the best of his early works and a visual reminder of why he should have focused his efforts on sculpture.

These waxes were shipped by air from Florence, Italy, and received at the TIC headquarters and new renaissance art museum, “Museo Michelangelo” in Battle Ground, WA. “It was an incredible day for everyone at the headquarters when the Pietà waxes showed up; it’s not every day you receive original Michelangelo’s from Italy,” said Mark Russo, CEO of TIC.

Treasure Investments Corporation purchased the exclusive rights to cast over 72 European masterpieces in precious metals from the Vatican collections; including works by Michelangelo, Canova, Apollonius of Nestor, Bernini, and others. TIC has been casting large sculptures in pure silver for the last 5 years. Most of the pieces weigh over 1000 ounces and are among the collection by famous artist Lorenzo Ghiglieri (1931-2020). The images cast in precious metals are primarily from his eagle collections and other wildlife pieces. In the last 2 years, Treasure has produced over 45,000 ounces of sculpture in silver from our vast master mold collection. “We knew we wanted to cast the largest silver piece ever done but needed to find the right piece. When we asked our team what that image should be, we all asked the right questions. Who is the most famous artist in human history? And what are the most famous sculptures in human history? It was easy to find that Michelangelo was at the top of the list for artists and the Pietà as one of the most famous sculptures in history. Russo recalls the moment, “When I walked up to them, I just couldn’t believe how big the jaws were. Having watched the movie Jaws, you think wow that is a big shark and large teeth and jaws, but the crazy thing about it is the shark in the movie was only about 25 feet and weighed around 6,000 pounds if real. A Megalodon is the same shark; only it’s an amazing 70 feet long and weighing over 100,000 pounds. Megalodons went extinct about 4 million years ago and were so large they could bite a whale in half.” The set of jaws in the aquarium are about 7 feet in height and represent a 60-foot Megalodon. TIC will be creating 2 sets of jaws and teeth and an actual 70-foot life-size full-scale version.

The first set of Jaws will be approximately 7 feet in height representing a 60-foot Megalodon, the second set will be approximately 10 feet in height and represent a 70-foot version. The life-size and full-scale Megalodon will be 70 feet in length and have the circumference of a school bus.

Knowing who to call to help with this project, Mark called his friend Rob Arps of Form 3d in Portland, Oregon. Form 3d Foundry is a full scale advanced and rapid prototyping company. They have the ability to scan nearly any image and enlarge or reduce the size and create full working 3d models in almost any material. With the permission of the aquarium, Form 3d was given access to scan the 7-foot Megalodon jaws over a weekend and not during regular working hours. With the scan data complete, TIC can now begin creating the jaw sets.

The jaws and teeth will be created with an advanced printing machine using a polyresin. Once printed, a stand will be made to display the jaws complete with the teeth. Once the first prototype is perfected, a master mold will be created, and TIC will go to production casting the first sets in resin and will be hand-painted for museum display, and some will also be cast in bronze. The larger 10-foot set will be designed so you can walk through them. The production of the actual life-size 70-foot megalodon will begin once the first 2 jaw sets are complete.

Doing a lot of field research, Mark Russo has visited numerous aquariums, museums, zoos, fossil showrooms, and many other unique locations to find out that there is nowhere one can purchase a set of Megalodon Jaws. Russo commented on his research saying, “You can buy the teeth but not a set of Jaws, let alone a life-size version of one. I have asked numerous fossil store owners and museum directors around the country that if you had a set of Megalodon jaws to sell, could you sell them? Unanimously everyone said yes and lots of them. I realized that we had a major opportunity to create something very unique and become the only distributor worldwide.”

Sharks do not have bones; they are made up of mostly cartilage, which is why there are no fossil records other than their teeth. To recreate the life-size versions of the jaws, great white shark jaws were scaled up to match the size of the Megalodons teeth which are exactly the same as great white just much larger.

TIC will begin distribution of the jaw sets to aquariums, zoos, and other dealers in the fall of 2020. Lorenzo’s Gold Bull by Lorenzo Ghiglieri

Treasure Investments Corporation dba Foundry Michelangelo is creating and casting pure silver sculptures from the most famous artists in history. Foundry Michelangelo (FM) owns the molds to over 2,000 original sculptures representing over 230 artists that include Fredric Remington, Charles Russell, Bernini, Canova, Michelangelo, Rodin, Ghiglieri, and many others.

In 2018, FM cast a masterpiece of an eagle By Lorenzo Ghiglieri entitled American Patriot in 1,000 troy ounces of pure .999 fine silver, made the piece a limited edition of only 10 and priced it at $200,000. 9 of the 10 have sold with a deal pending for the last one. “Our Silver pieces are stunning and are the talk of all the trade shows we attend.

An attendee at the New Orleans Investment Conference approached the FM display booth and noticed the pure silver Michelangelo and asked what the price was. The pure silver Pietà bust is cast in .999 pure silver, contains 1,000 troy ounces, and priced at $195,000.00. Once informed of this, the attendee asked if he could send his silver to Foundry Michelangelo and have one cast. Russo replied, “we have our own silver but would certainly consider using the silver you can provide.”

Russo asked the attendee what he had paid for the silver, and his 1,000 troy ounces cost him around $17,000.00. Russo responded with, “send me your silver and let Foundry Michelangelo transpose it into a masterpiece by one of the most famous artists in history using our master mold and turn your silver into gold.” The client loved the concept and purchased the piece. Most silver owners that hold their silver themselves store it in a safe or hide it somewhere in their homes.

Mark’s idea is to offer customers and buyers of silver bullion to use the silver and cast it into a beautiful work of art and not only enjoy and see the piece but get the incredible monetary gain from the value of the art. The client, although he is paying a premium for the right to have the work cast using one of the limited editions for the Michelangelo, his base value of the silver went up 1100% since his 1,000 troy ounces is now a limited-edition Michelangelo.

Mark explains, “Private jet and fine motor car enthusiasts are certainly not strangers to fine art, and undoubtedly will recognize the remarkable artistry in the sculptures provided by Foundry Michelangelo.  World-renowned as an artist and sculptor, Lorenzo Ghiglieri, is one of our featured artists. His works are on permanent display in the most prestigious museums and art collections in the world! His work is in the White House, the Vatican, the Kremlin, and the Royal Palace in Madrid. His sculptures and paintings have been presented to Ronald Reagan, Al Gore, HM Queen Elizabeth II, and Luciano Pavarotti. In the spirit of peace, Lorenzo presented his Holiness Pope John Paul II, the King of Spain, and former Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev with his conception of St. Francis of Assisi in bronze.

Therefore, this year for the first time, honored to be part of this elite gathering, Mark announces, “We will unveil two of Lorenzo Ghiglieri’s most powerful and magnificent sculptures. The first one, Lorenzo’s Horse, is a polished stainless steel ten-foot-tall, life-size likeness of “Mambo,” Mr. Ghiglieri’s very own horse.”

Tragically, many years ago, Mambo was killed at 3 AM, when he wandered onto the road in front of Lorenzo’s ranch and was struck and killed by a drunk driver. In 1994, after recovering from this very emotional loss, using a photograph he’d once taken of Mambo in that iconic full rearing position, hooves flashing, and nostrils flaring, Lorenzo created this magnificent sculpture. It will be unveiled here for the first time and is the first one of 99 Limited Edition series, produced in polished stainless steel. One other very special example will be cast using 37,000 Troy oz. of pure .999 silver.  A smaller version of the horse, about three feet in height, cast in bronze and plated in chrome, will also be on display.

The second life-size sculpture on display will be Lorenzo’s Bull, a powerful example, standing just over five feet tall and ten feet long.  It is currently a work-in-process in clay to be cast in bronze and plated with 24-carat gold. However, a smaller, finished 24-carat gold-plated bronze bull, will also be on view.

Other sculptures on display will be additional works by Lorenzo Ghiglieri, including “The Presidential Patriot Silver Edition” cast with 1,000 Troy oz. of pure .999 silver.  It depicts the magnificent American Bald Eagle holding Article One of the U. S. Constitution, in its talons.

McCall Events, Inc. continues in its 28th year of producing Gordon McCall’s Motorworks Revival Event at the Monterey Jet Center, the “Kick-Off” party for the world-famous, annual, automotive week in Monterey, California.
